FAQ

How do I estimate the total cost of my move if I am given an hourly rate?

Every move is different even if you are moving the same amount of items as last time. Our experienced team members can give you an estimate ranged time based on previous experiences.
Should I expect the same price as my last move?
As referred to in the previous question, no move is alike since there are too many factors that go into play such as: walking distance to and from the truck, the amount of items accumulated since your last move, maneuvering items around the property, building management staff, preparation before movers arrive, weather conditions, distance between loading and unloading location, traffic delays, market price fluctuations, integrity of your previous mover if different company used etc. Ultimately you can expect a similar price if all conditions are almost exact to your previous move.
How can I ensure for a stress free move?
Proper prior preparation prevents poor performance. In addition your emotional state makes a huge difference when you hire a company to come help out with a service. The more calm and appreciative you are to those who are assisting you the easier to is for them to help and provide solutions for any adversity that arises.
What are some things I can do to prepare for my move?

Make sure everything is packed and sealed in boxes; we also do provide packing services, but we usually come on a different day for this service. You can disassemble beds, workout equipment, desks, sectional couches, unmounting tvs, etc. Install floor protection and stretch wrap fabric items. Putting blankets on furniture to ensure your items are protected as well as the walls on the property. Sticky note items where you want them to go at the offloading location as well as labeling boxes. Binging items near the door. We can do all these services as well for you too, but these are some suggestions to help make your move quicker.
What do I do if one of my items or property is damaged?
Ultimately our main concern is to mitigate any risk of any damage happening to any of your items, however, if something were to happen we are able to file an insurance claim for you. If it is an item, then we will need a before and after picture to verify the item was damaged under our responsibility and the receipt of the item as well. If your property is damaged we will need a picture of the damage and an estimate from a contractor to file a claim for reimbursement.
